Terms of service

Modavio is operated as a private preview. These terms describe what the service does, what it does not promise, and what happens to your money.
1. What Modavio is
Modavio is a metered reseller of capacity from an upstream provider (“the Fleet”). You buy prepaid credit and spend it per token. Modavio is not the developer of the underlying models and makes no representation about their output.
2. Accounts and keys
You authenticate with ChatGPT. API keys are issued to your account, shown once, and stored only as a cryptographic hash. You are responsible for keeping keys secret and for all usage incurred by a key you have not revoked. Revocation takes effect immediately.
3. Credit and charges
Every account starts at $0 and cannot make a request until it is funded. Before each request Modavio reserves the maximum price for that route; after the response it charges for the model that actually answered and returns the unused reserve. Published rates apply, and the pricing version used is recorded against every settled request.
Credit is denominated in US dollars, does not expire, and is not transferable between accounts.
4. Availability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis, with no uptime commitment. Where the upstream Fleet is unavailable, your request fails and your reserve is returned in full; Modavio is not liable for losses arising from unavailability.
5. Acceptable use
Your use must comply with the acceptable-use policy and with the usage policies of the underlying model providers. Modavio may suspend an account that breaches them.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modavio’s aggregate liability is limited to the credit balance remaining on your account. Modavio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from model output.
7. Changes
Prices may change with notice on the pricing page; a change never applies retroactively to credit already spent. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date.
